'Honey and the Sting' is the story of a middle class miser man named Shambhu Nath. He is not ready to spent 250 rupees for the belt so that his trousers. But he had to unwillingly spent 600 rupees for honey and also get stung from hovering bee. Shambhu Nath could not figher out whether the sting or the 600 rupees hurt him more.

Answer: Shambhu Nath was a middle aged man. His hair had thinned a lot, and his cheeks were puffy. His belly had protrude quite a lot.
2. Why do you the think the young man standing at a distance smiles at Shambhu Nath at the end of the story?
Answer: Shambhu Nath was a kind of miser person. He was not ready to spend 250 rupees for belt. But for the pail of honey, he had to spent 600 rupees. When he was taking out money from his wallet just then a hovering bee came and stung him on forehead. Shambhu Nath could not make out what hurt him more. Young man standing at a distance watching all this, smiled at Shambhu Nath.
