I Take Wings
By
Meha Gupta
I Take Wings
They imposed all on me
Rules and regulations
They judged me
Ticks and crosses
I took all on me
Rights and wisdom
I judged myself
Maxims and opinions
I am a bird now
They still mock at me
For not being able to climb the tree
Whose leaves I kiss every morning
